The book of Jude has only one short powerful Chapter

Verses 1 and 2

“Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James.”

Prayer :               “Mercy, Peace, and Love be multiplied to you”.

Doxology of Jude is a triumphant song: Verses 24 and 25

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,

?And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy

To God our Saviour,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.

The rest of Jude brings a clear warning with practical guidance and encouragement.
Mrs. Kurvilla’s recording on the small but challenging book of Philemon helps us realise the
great importance of personal, specific Prayer, if we expect to develop and foster good healthy
interpersonal relationships throughout life.

First Jude identifies himself – a servant and brother of James
Then, the SOURCE of his authority and
from WHOM the blessings will come- Jesus Christ.

He then explains to the people like himself and his brother, who have had their personal needs
met and are now

“Called, sanctified by God the Father and preserved in Jesus Christ”.

Throughout life everyone makes mistakes, errors of judgment and wrong decisions
But here is our Source and Resource for forgiveness, cleansing and being made whole to become
more effective.

Jude’s warnings, practical guidance and encouragement are as relevant today as ever.
The responsibility lies with us to accept and apply in order to grow to greater maturity of faith in
practice, through each experience.

The Doxology

Jude concludes his very short letter with a triumphant hymn of glory.
In Hebrew, the heart language of the people to whom he was writing, the word ‘kavod’ conveys a
much clearer understanding than the Greek translation ‘Doxology’:

“Kavod” is a description of the revelation of God( YHWH), His acts in Creation and Salvation.
It speaks of God’s honour and how this is revealed and what it means to all who truly believe.

This wonderful provision is found in Yeshua ha Mashiach (The LORD Jesus Christ, the Anointed
One, Saviour and Redeemer for all peoples.)
He alone, is able to pass on the manifestation of YHWH which means we can become vehicles of
His honour.

This provision is freely available to everyone, whoever accepts the offer and believes will receive.
“kavod” is not something we possess.
It is an activity something in which we actively participate.
In this way our lives manifest the honing refining work of the Holy Spirit that enables us to
become what God created each one to be.
We don’t have it. We are what is displayed through us.

Because Jesus Christ fulfils the purposes of God, and manifests the truth of YHWH, when anyone asks and lets Yeshua be Mashiach, our Saviour and Redeemer, it is HE alone who is able to keep each one from stumbling

NO ONE, anywhere in the world is excluded. Every Nurse, all we care for, along with every family member who really desires and comes in faith, will be received and blessed.

No wonder we can raise our voices with genuine rejoicing and a deep sense of thankfulness and say or sing:

“To God our Saviour be all glory, majesty and honour, Dominion and power,
both now and for ever.”
